Loneliness

"The foxes have holes,
and the birds of the sky have nests,
but the Son of Man
has nowhere
to lay his head." MATT. 8:20

"Follow me,
and leave the dead
to bury their own dead." MATT. 8:22

"Why are you fearful,
O you of little faith?" MATT. 8:10-13

Jesus is Life! A flowing never-ending stream of Life! He is always moving forward, bringing restoration, relief and health in His wake. Jesus drove out spirits with a word and restored to health all who were sick; yet, His home was not here on earth. At the end of the day we all head back to our own homes to our personal thoughts. But Jesus kept his thoughts always outside of Himself, directed toward heaven. Are you ready to pursue the Life of Jesus with complete abandon? Are you willing to stop dead-end activities that are meaningless? Consuming yourselves with these things does not fill the void. Only Jesus can do that. Allow Jesus to wash away your loneliness.

Heavenly Father, thank you for bearing my sins and sicknesses, physical, mental and spiritual. You set me free! As you pave the way forward, I will follow in your wake. Let me not take others or my circumstances too seriously. May I take only you seriously at your word. I am headed for heaven with you. I want to go forward with you!

"All the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house." ~ "Surely he has borne our sickness, and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray. Everyone has turned to his own way; and Yahweh has laid on him the iniquity of us all." ~ "Everyone went to his own house." ~ "Yes, a man will say, 'You have faith, and I have works.' Show me your faith without works, and I by my works will show you my faith. You believe that God is one. You do well. The demons also believe, and shudder. But do you want to know, vain man, that faith apart from works is dead?"
