"Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead." ~ "How then does David in the Spirit call him Lord, saying, 'The Lord said to my Lord, sit on my right hand, until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet?'" "If then David calls him Lord, how is he his son?" ~ "Who touched my clothes?" ~ "Who do men say that I am?" ~ "But who do you say that I am?" ~ "Why are you reasoning so in your hearts? Which is easier to say, 'Your sins are forgiven you;' or to say, 'Arise and walk?' But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins" . . . "I tell you, arise, and take up your cot, and go to your house." ~ "What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind? But what did you go out to see? A man clothed in soft clothing? Behold, those who are gorgeously dressed, and live delicately, are in kings' courts. But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and much more than a prophet. This is he of whom it is written, 'Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before you.'" ~ "Who touched me?" ~ "Someone did touch me, for I perceived that power has gone out of me." ~ "I am the bread which came down out of heaven." ~ "You both know me, and know where I am from. I have not come of myself, but he who sent me is true, whom you don't know. I know him, because I am from him, and he sent me." ~ "Most certainly, I tell you, before Abraham came into existence, I AM." ~ "You have both seen him, and it is he who speaks with you."
